AIWIS successfully organised the first Indoor Corporate Futsal tournament, Challengers Futsal Cup (CFC), at the Thayagraj Stadium, New Delhi on 12th of July.
09 Teams from the Corporate fraternity participated - from Genpact, Amex, TCS, FIS (2 teams), Radio One, UDM Financials, Nature Essence & HDFC Bank.
Team Genpact emerged as the CFC Champion, defeating Team FIS Champions in a nail biting finish.
The winning team was awarded the Trophy and Gift Vouchers for the Kingdom Of Dreams (KOD) Live Shows. AIWIS Sports Marketing and Management plans to promote this tournament in multiple cities.
Vice President, Marketing, KOD, Saurabh Kaushik, said, “KOD has always been enthusiastic in supporting corporates, and sport exemplifies the solidarity and team spirit among them. Also, FIFA World Cup fever was in the air and KOD has always wanted to be a part of sports activities.”
Radio One covered the Event and was also an on-ground sponsor. “Challengers Futsal Cup (CFC) was a part of our initiative and we will continue to strive for such opportunities in future,” said Rajesh Ranjan, Station Director-Delhi 94.3 RadioOne.
