The Haryana CM's Window, which was inaugurated with much fanfare across the State, aims to  to help redress the complaints of the public in a transparent and efficient mode. Ever since its opening on December 25, it has been deluged with complaints from every section of society. The people have lodged their complaints with the CM Window in the hope that these will be directly overseen by the CM and his staff, and there could be quick redressal of their grievances. In Gurgaon, 160 complaints have been lodged, and most of  these pertain to land disputes and some issues across different civic agencies. Gurgaon SDM, the nodal officer of CM Window, Dr Ekta Chopra, told Friday Gurgaon, "These complaints are monitored by the Chief Minister's office and there  are specific guidelines to redress them," said Chopra. The data from across the State reveals that the highest number of complaints have been lodged in Karnal, which is the constituency of CM Manohar Lal Khattar; next comes Hisar, where 307 complaints (mainly pertaining to land, revenue and property). There are also complaints related to agricultural markets, functioning of vegetable markets and retirement issues.  A complainantin Gurgaon has said that although he has received a confirmatory message and a  Receipt from the CM Window, he does not know what action has been initiated to resolve his issue.  In Faridabad, 200 complaints have been registered, and they mainly pertain to civic issues, and corruption in public life. In Kurukshetra, almost 300 complaints have been registered, and action is underway on these. In Yamuna Nagar, the CM Window registered 235 complaints, and some of these have already been resolved – they mainly pertained to BPL cardholders and local panchayats. In Jhajjar, 115 complaints were registered, mainly addressing the negative attitude of the government employees – who are not willing to listen to the problems of the people. Sirsa witnessed 189 complaints, and these have been put forward for action. In Fatehabad, Hisar, and Rohtak 158, 307 and 213 complaintshave been registered at the CM Window.
