Halloween for the underprivileged

The 'Radiant Kids' had a whale of a time in dressing spookily and scaring the daylights out of all as part of the Halloween celebrations. They were told that Halloween, or 'All Saints' Day', is meant to be a day for remembrances and prayers for the departed souls as well as for those whose souls might still be lingering between the physical and spiritual realms - hence the reference to ghosts and ghouls!  Despite not having any fancy dresses or spooky pictures/images to refer to, the senior students showed great imagination and creativity while face painting the younger ones (at Radiant Kids School). All the colours
used were skin-firendly, made from simple things
available at home.

The Girls have done it...again!

The MRIS 46 Girls' Gurgaon Team secured the 1st Position at the 28th State level Haryana Sports Competition 2014 held at the Dalbir Singh Stadium, Sirsa. 11 District Teams participated in the event. Building Community

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. That is what Pathways World School experienced when it commemorated the 69th Anniversary celebration of International UN Day at the school premises. 2,500 people from different walks of life - students from Pathways and nearby village schools, parents and faculty - sat together and enjoyed a meal. Children from over 30 different nationalities, dressed in ethnic attire, helped serve food to all the guests. The School also arranged for a magic show and folk dance performances. The village ladies had cooked up a ‘Bajra Roti’ dish and served it hot, along with an exceptional chutney.
