‘Good’ is not good if its goodness remains unknown
Until its true power in the face of evil is shown
Goodness spreads like the fragrance from the flower
But only if its sweetness wafts in the air
‘Bad’ is not bad until its badness understood
All bad things hide in their womb the good.
Good and bad ever face each other
The nature of good is never to surrender.
Evil is nothing but weakness of good
When good fails to stand up when it should.
Within all evil is hidden a desire to reform
It needs the power and example of goodness to be its norm
The strength of goodness is seen in its power over the evil
In extending a hand of help without hesitation or cavil
To vanquish the evil all Arjunas must fight
The war against evil with all their might
If Duryodhanas survive, what Arjunas are good for?
Would not the purpose of life be lost forever?
Even Krishna is not needed if the Mahabharata is lost
For the creation to survive the Lord’s victory is a must
What good is ‘dharma’ if it cannot hold its ground
Against all efforts of ‘adharma’ from spreading around?
Only the end justifies the character of ‘means’
Knowing not, fools judge their defeats and wins.
