My mind is a great artist
It creates images of people & events
They look so real, so convincing
But they are only figments of my mind
They trigger strong feelings
Of love, joy, hate, envy, fear
Panic, phobia
Towards these characters
If I realise that these are my own creations
I will spare myself of these turbulent
Emotions n agitation
The toxins they generate…
A way to be objective
Is to observe your breath
The body does the breathing, you watch
Breath has a natural rhythm
Between the next breath there is a gap
Watch the gap
And wait for the next breath to begin on its own
Don't make an effort to breathe
Just observe the rhythmic flow
Become aware
Feel more in control
Don't engage with the havoc
Of the mind
Follow your breath
Make it a pass time.
