The two most expensive hotels in the world are located in the Indian Ocean nation of the Seychelles, according to a report by Travelmag magazine. A room for two in the North Island Lodge costs at least 6,995 dollars per night. In the Fregate Island hotel, it costs 5,246 dollars. Third place, at 5,040 dollars per night, is taken by the Laucala Resort on the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific. That’s followed by three safari resorts in Botswana, where a double room costs 3,800 dollars a night. The only European hotel in the top 10 most expensive hotels worldwide is Le Dune in Sardinia. An overnight stay there will set a visitor back by 3,114 dollars.
