Recitation Contest

Students of Class XI participated in an Inter-Class Poetry Recital competition organised at the School’s amphitheatre. Balachandra and Misbah were the Winners, followed by Rupal Anand and Prarthna Nanda at Second position. Khyati Arora and Nimisha came Third. Atul Garg, Rishika Banerjee, Bhavya Banerjee and Rishabh Pandey received Special Mentions. 



Welcoming Assembly 

The School (Ryan International, Sohna Road) was abuzz with the usual cheer when the students came back after the Summer Break. The teachers enthusiastically conducted special Welcome assemblies. The School Oath, a resolution to self-commitment, was taken by Ms Sakshi  Rajpal. The Thought for the Day was shared by Ms. Monika Mehta. Ryan News Desk updated the students about the national, international and sports news, as  well as news about Ryan. MS. Chhavi , Ms. Anita Taneja, Ms. Tarushi & Dr. Sangeeta Goel gave talks on faith in God and the values of gratitude, obedience and kindness. Twelve students who had visited NASA were felicitated; they shared their experiences. Principal Dr. Mouna Gupta congratulated the entire faculty for the excellent Class XII Board results.

A football match was organsed at Ryan International School, Sohna Road. The boys’ Class XII Football team emerged victorious.

Sporting Media

Ryan International School, Gurgaon celebrated World Sports Journalist Day. The students of Mahatma Gandhi House performed a role play on a few sports journalists. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma reminded the students that this day is celebrated worldwide to pay tribute to all sports journalists. She added that each student should be passionate about sports & some can take up Sports Journalism as a career.

Krishna Camp

Bhakta Prahlad, a weekend school located at ISKCON, Sector 31 conducted its 5th Annual ‘Krishna’ Summer Camp 2014. More than 55 children, in the age group of 5 to 12 years, enthusiastically participated in the activities. On the last day the Ratha Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra was taken out by the kids. The activities included the singing of bhajans and kirtans, recitation of slokas and mantras, aratis, dancing, arts and crafts, games and aerobics and garland making. The classes were conducted by a team of in- house facilitators.
