Annual Fest

The Banyan Tree World School students celebrated the much-awaited Annual Fest with tremendous energy and vigour. 


Annual Day

It is the beginning of the new year and The Banyan Tree World School again finds itself as a hub of energy, creativity, fun, frolic and excitement. The Annual Day provides a canvas for the children to splash their colours of energy, innovation and imagination, conjuring up a panorama where their spirit and talent know no bounds. It is the perfect pedestal for pushing their originality, artistic excellence and musical forte. The function started at 3pm with the lighting of the lamp by Directors Ms. Jyoti Gupta & Ms. Ruby Thukral, the Chief Guest Ms. Anamika and the Head Mistress Ms. Shibani Ghosh. The Programme started with a Dance performance. ‘Taarey Zameen Par,’ by the Nursery and KG children. The much-awaited ballet, ‘Mokshdayini Ganga,’ revealed how Industrialization has polluted the Ganga. It was felt important to make the children aware of the threat of pollution to our Holy River.


A Modern Tale

The story of the Lion and the Mouse was enacted by the teachers at Modern Montessori International School. The classroom was decorated with bright paperwork and the teachers came dressed as different characters. This is one the best ways of storytelling and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the Show.  


The GPS Planet

GPS organized an educational trip to Nehru Planetarium for its Class IV and V students, so that they could imbibe a better knowledge of space and explore the mysteries of the universe. The students were accompanied by eight teachers. The Show at the Planetarium was spectacular and the children enjoyed every bit of it. The teachers also helped them understand the various facets of astronomy that were on display.

Playful Ryan

Ryan International School, Sector-40 celebrated its Montessori Annual Sports Meet- Fastrax Play for India. The grand Celebration aims to encourage every child to take part in sports activities and realize the value of physical fitness. The mascot, Sprinty the Cheetah, welcomed the guests and Montessori III gave the guard of honour. The Day began with Bible-reading and a Special Prayer for the young athletes. The eminent guests were H.R. Singh (ex Director CRPF), Ms Suman Dahiya (Advocate & Co-convener, Legal Cell for Women, Congress Party), and Jay Prakash (IPS - SHO Sector 40. The School Sports Minister, Ms. Mansi Patil, took the Oath - to play fairly and honestly - on behalf of all the athletes. The Chief Guest declared the Meet open by releasing balloons, and this was followed by rollercoaster somersaults by the mascot Sprinty. The Tiny Tots of Mont-I, Mont-II and Mont-III enthusiastically participated in the Lemon and Spoon Race, Flower Race, Cone Race, Hurdle Race and Flat Race. The spectators were captivated by the zeal of the toddlers. The students of Mont-III presented a synchronised Dumbbell Drill – Let’s Beat the World. The Mont-II students presented tantalising Aerobics - Ryan Rocks, which were full of energy, and thrilled the spectators. The pick of the Day was the vivacious and exuberant Dance Show - ‘When I get older, I will be stronger’ - presented by the students of Mont-III. At the conclusion of the Programme, the School President, Seerat Walia thanked all the guests for their motivating presence and support. The School Head, Ms. Peeya Sharma was elated to see the hard work of the small Ryanites and told them that their desire for success should be greater than the fear of failure. 




Floral Ryan

Ryan International School, Sector-40 organized a colorful Floral Exhibit to recognise the incredible efforts of each Ryanite throughout the year. It was a Day to celebrate the presence of nature and to admire the beauty around us. Each Ryanite had brought saplings – of different hues and health benefits. The talk show, ‘Glorious display of Bloom at Ryan’ was the limelight of the Day, and spread the message of ‘Save Environment’ - by growing more trees. It also encouraged Ryanites to be part of worthy rallies. The prestigious Guest of Honour, Ms. Geeta Huda, a renowned florist, announced the Winner of the spectacular display of blooming flowers. To give a fillip to our Chairman, Dr. A.F. Pinto’s vision of a ‘Safe and Healthy Environment’, each child is encourages to bring saplings on his/her birthday; and the School celebrates Earth Day and Environment Week. It was an immensely proud moment for the School Head, Ms. Peeya Sharma, whose ideas and hard work were shown and praised by everyone. She congratulated the Winner and encouraged everyone to join hands for this noble cause.


American Montessori Public School


Chhoti Kahaniyaan

Stories are enjoyed by children and adults alike. Story telling is an Art that keeps the listener captivated and enthralled. A Hindi Story-telling competition was held for the students of Class I and II of the American Montessori Public School. The children participated with great enthusiasm and narrated various stories - ranging from the Panchatantra, Ramayana and Mahabharata to the modern era. The children spoke with clarity and confidence, and the beautiful props added to the attraction. 


Dance Teacher Dance
A Dance Workshop was conducted by the Dance instructor, Sonu Ansari, for the teachers of the junior wing of American Montessori Public School. Popular dance numbers were taught and the enthusiastic teachers had a fun time practising the same. 


A Graceful Birthday 

Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon was all abuzz with gaiety and cheer as it was the birthday of the Managing Director, Madam Grace Pinto. A Special Assembly was conducted by the Montessori and Primary Wing on this joyous occasion. The Celebrations began with Bible Reading and a Special Prayer. The Primary students shared birthday messages in different languages and the young budding poets recited their self-composed poems - penned in honour of Madam. The Tiny Tots of the Montessori Section lent a special spark to the Birthday celebrations, in a very enthusiastic and cheerful manner. Theme-based parties were organized. The girls, attired in Party wear, had a ‘Doll Party’ and the smartly-dressed boys organized a ‘Ben-ten Party’. This was followed by cake-cutting and the re-echo of the Birthday song - sung by the sweet Tiny Tots from their hearts. The classrooms wore a decorative look. The School Principal, Dr. Mouna Gupta, addressing the students, appreciated their zeal and motivated them to always remember the teachings and guidance of Managing Director Madam. It was a much awaited day, holding cherished memories for every student.


 

MRIS School, Sector-46

Gymming It Up!
The Gymnastics team of MRIS-46 won laurels for their performance at the 9th Swabhimaan Sports Festival 2014, held at the DDA Sports Complex at Rohini. The girls U-8 Team secured the 1st position at the Championship - the Team consisted of Komal Apte, Suhani Tyagi, Anandita Deshwal and Aahena Sharma. Komal Apte won the Silver medal for the Floor exercise. The U-10 Team, comprising of Ritika Jain, Nitya Mishra, Delisha Chaudhary and Vaibhavi Dey, secured the 3rd position. Nitya Mishra won the Bronze medal for the Floor exercise in this category. We wish the Team hearty Congratulations!


Playing to Win

Sports fever at MRIS 46 is at an all-time high, as the School is organising a Sports Meet. The students of the Senior School participated enthusiastically in various Track and Field event Finals, after a  much-riveting Heats round. School Executive Director Sunny Bansal and Principal Ms. Dhriti Malhotra ‘clapped’ off the events of the Day. Students displayed great sportsmanship and healthy competition, as they competed against one another. Engaging performances were also put up by the School Gymnastics and Taekwondo Teams, which left everyone spellbound.
