Hundreds of women, along with some celebrities like Singer Rabbi Shergill, Violinist Sharat Chandra Srivastava, and Drummer Satyajit Mukherjee, made their presence felt at the 'Gurgaon Girlcott' at the Galleria Market – to protest against the rising crime against women in the Millennium City. The event started with slogans, and was followed by a street play called ‘Dastak’ – performed by well-known theatre Director Arvind Gaur’s group, Asmita Theatre Group. The play was based on the theme of saving and protecting women.
